Davia was born in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire on the North-East coast of England (near to the fishing port of Grimsby) and her maiden name, Davia Davidson exposes her paternal Norse heritage. She followed her artistic passion and it led to her being the first in her family to attend university, studying Ba(Hons) 3D Design at Hornsey College of Art.
