Joe Walmsley has been announced as the new Managing Director of Daedalian Glass Studios. Joe is the son of our Founder, Davia Walmsley and has been invested in the family business since a young age.
He re-joined Daedalian Glass Studios as a Company Director in 2012 following a 6-year hiatus. During this time, he worked in corporate finance in the City of London. Upon his return, he has implemented a restructuring of our project management approach and emphasised a greater focus on high-end customer experience.

Over the past five years, Joe has gradually taken on more responsibility for the day-to-day running of Daedalian Glass Studios. This has allowed for a smooth transition through this process of succession and ensured a continuity in our high standards of design, production, and customer service.
Our Founder, Davia Walmsley will continue to inspire us through her artistry and design expertise. She will now be able to dedicate her time wholly to the studio team – developing the next generation of glass artists at Daedalian Glass Studios.
