The Client:
This super prime villa with panoramic views over the Bay of Cannes consists of over 1,600m2 of living space and 13,000m2 of manicured gardens. It boasts 8 en-suite bedroom suites, plentiful living spaces, a cinema, spa, gym, and a 30 metre outdoor infinity pool.
The Brief:
Daedalian Glass Studios was commissioned to create a series of glass focal features throughout the Villa interior. These glass designs feature hues of blue and the stylised double A logo of the property owners.
What we did
Daedalian Glass Studios created the following glass features for this VIlla in the exclusive area of La Californie, Cannes:
- 4 No. laminated shower doors with voile fabric interlayers and matching WC doors and enclosure side panels within the guest bedroom en-suites.
- Various 6mm thick mirrors with sandblasted borders located in the basement games room, the dance room, the master bedroom, and guest bedrooms.
- A frosted glass window with stainless steel framework in the master bedroom en-suite.
- The games room bar back created using 15mm thick, kiln-formed and colour-washed glass.
- The games room bar top created from 19mm thick, kiln formed and colour-washed glass.
- A spa feature wall - 3 panels of back painted, kiln-formed, and toughened, low-iron glass.
- Shower and WC enclosures created with frosted low-iron glass in the spa and pool areas.
- Back-painted spa column cladding.
- Library doors created from laminated fabric.
- The summer kitchen doors created from frosted low-iron glass.
