Life At Daedalian Glass Studios (it’s not all work)
Some months ago our local MP Ben Wallace visited Daedalian Glass Studios, he was pleasantly surprised at the world class glass designs being produced on his patch. (Northern Powerhouse – here we come!!) He invited the Daedalian team to visit the Palace of Westminster and this month we took up his offer.
On this occasion we climbed Big Ben and were entertained by the excellent tour guide to the history and mechanics of the famous clock.
We also took the opportunity to visit the recently completed Lanesborough Hotel project at Hyde Park Corner; our production team rarely get the opportunity to admire finished projects. Many thanks to Duty Manager Tim for showing us the Belgravia Room and Celeste Restaurant.
To finish the day we completed a whistle stop tour of Harrods and a circuit on the London Eye. An excellent day out for all.
