Over the years we have laminated many different types of fabric between low iron glass but our most popular is a lightweight voile fabric available in 13 colour options. Rather than standardising our products we like to work with designers to produce something a little different and more relevant for the specific interior scheme.
In this article we have featured two of our most popular fabrics; colour codes – E003 Snow and E010 Slate. Often clients want just one colour but on the two projects shown here we have taken the process a step further.

Photograph 4: Kitchen to dining room frameless synchronised sliding doors. These have one E003 Snow and two E010 Slate horizontal bands which complimented both the kitchen and dining room decor.
Photograph 5 & 6: The WC to bathroom door has two layers of E010 Slate fabric and an obscuring mid-layer giving total privacy yet still allowing light transmittance. Note the very different effect when viewed from outside the WC (Photo 5) where there’s lots of translucent light, compared to the inside (Photo 6) where the fabric appears much darker and reflective because of the relatively low light level in the bathroom.
One of the magic properties of glass is the wonderful effects caused by different and changing light conditions. It’s something we always consider with our customers and try and use to the best effect.
