The Client:
This luxury private residence lies in the highly affluent Merseyside district of Formby. Indeed, the district is infamous among local sports fans as past and present residents include:
Joe Allen, Leighton Baines, Alan Ball, Mario Balotelli, Ross Barkley, Joe Cole, Duncan Ferguson, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Emlyn Hughes, Jurgen Klopp, Adam Lallana, John Parrott, Brendan Rodgers, Wayne Rooney, Neil Ruddock, Alan Shearer, Raheem Sterling, and John Toshack.
The Brief:
Daedalian Glass Studios was commissioned to collaborate with the interior designer and create a number of feature glass installations within the interior design.
What we did
Daedalian Glass Studios created a balustrade design that features throughout the residence – a staircase and landing area as well as a large square interior balcony. This balcony design utilises free standing, shaped glass with etched and gold painted edge detailing. The creates the image of a tree in the lost space between the glass. Additional to this, a set of 40mm diameter lead crystal handrails were created for the stairs.
For the en-suite bathroom, a matching laminated door, shower screen, and series of windows was created.
